Baby step 3
Today's baby step was an easy one - do what you have already done. Getting dressed to the shoes was easy enough because we got up early this morning to go to EdVenture which is a little more than 2 hours away. We had a lot of fun. :) I just finished shining my sink so I am going to finish watching Extreme Couponing and go to bed.

Progress Not Perfection
Instead of looking at all the things I still have to do around here, tonight I took a minute to look at what I had accomplished over the past few days. The kitchen is pretty clean - just needs sweeping, the living room is decent, my bedroom is OK, Maleah's bedroom is still spotless, Tre's bedroom is clean, my sink is shining, my laundry pile is manageable. Tomorrow we are going away for the day and I am ready. Our clothes are picked out, the kids DS games are charging, the trip is planned, and I even cooked muffins tonight so breakfast will be ready for tomorrow. I am going to put the address into my phone/GPS so it is ready to go when we are and go to bed. Progress not perfection. :)

Cooking
One thing i always plan to do and never do is cook. I hate to admit it but we are a TV dinner kind of family. ;/ Trying to break that habit starting tonight. Here is the recipe:
Cheesy Chicken Breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
3 oz garlic croutons
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
6 oz shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Place one can of chicken soup in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with croutons. Layer the chicken breasts on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Spread with the second can of soup. Bake @ 325 degrees for 1 hour, or until the chicken is cooked through.
After I eat I am going to do baby step 1 - shine my sink. Hoping I have something to clean it with.

Day One
Today is day one of my (hopeful) year with flylady, trying to do something (not sure what yet) to get my house together. I worked for hours today on my daughter's bedroom. I worked on it a really long time and then when I got to where I didn't think I could do any more, I would set the timer for 5 minutes and then take a break. Then when the motivation came back I worked on it another long time. I am going to attempt to post pictures of it in just a minute....
